I haven't received my car title ven after paying my loan?

I paid my loan in full 3 months back. I have been calling my bank to return my title, but they still haven't returned my title. They are saying that they are working with Vehicle Registration Department in Florida (currently I reside in Texas) to get my title back. It has been unusually long time. I am not sure How do I handle the situation. Any suggestion would be greatly appreciated.

The bank lost my title. I had to go apply for a duplicate title. Standing in line in the courtroom sucks. I wrote them a letter and they at least refunded the duplicate title fee. Keep on them. Send a registered letter and keep notes on when you called and who you spoke to.
